VOLUNTEER AT THE JAZZ CENTRE UK
Our trustees and volunteers are the backbone of our organisation. Without them, we would not be where we are today. If you live in South-Essex and have a passion for jazz music or art, we would love you to get involved.

WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Volunteer for an exciting UK registered charity (No. 1167421) with regular live music events, funded Heritage Lottery projects and an organisation supported by Southend Borough Council. There are so many opportunities to get involved with at The Jazz Centre UK.
LIVE EVENTS TEAM
We run live events on a weekly basis including live music, workshops, lectures, exhibitions and more!
HELP AT FESTIVALS
We market at festivals where possible and run a jazz stage at Village Green Festival.
EXHIBITION PLANNING
Our heritage and art exhibitions take a lot of teamwork to co-ordinate.
MUSEUM TEAM
Our volunteers on the front desk greet the public as they walk in and give tours around the exhibits.
ARCHIVING TEAM
Archiving and cataloging are two of the largest jobs within our Centre. It is important that our collections are cared for.
VOLUNTEER TRAINING
We train volunteers how to use the Centre facilities, audio visual equipment and our online platforms.
MARKETING TEAM
Our website and online platforms take a lot of work to keep up-to-date. Are you social media savvy and have a passion for jazz music?
AND MUCH MORE...
Event photography, journalism, running weekly clubs and much more... The Jazz Centre UK is a cultural space full of activity.
VOLUNTEER PORTAL
