IN 2020, THE JAZZ CENTRE UK COLLABORATED WITH NYJC!

Through 2020 The NYJC put together a programme of 6-one day regional jazz workshops for young musicians ages 8 - 18 at The Jazz Centre UK! The application deadline has now ended for this year but please keep an eye on this page for future NYJC workshops and opportunities.

The National Youth Jazz Collective has been going for 13 years providing creative learning experiences for young people who enjoy composition and improvised music across the UK.

​

They deliver highly creative sessions led by world-class professional musicians that are informal, participative and good fun. Each will improve your ability to play by ear, improvise, compose and arrange together. Things you don’t often get taught elsewhere.

The regional programme is open to anyone of

any standard. No audition! No barriers of gender, culture, family income, instruments, whatever.
