Spike's Place presents the Ted Beament Quartet

British piano favourite Ted Beament returns to the Jazz Centre UK for the first Spike's Place presentation of 2025. Ted occupied the piano stool in the Humphrey Lyttelton band for many years, and has played his way through the Who's Who of British jazz, and with many international notables. He has given us fine demonstrations of the art of the piano trio in the past; today he brings a quartet, with the expressive saxophonist/clarinettist Rob Fowler in the front line, and one of the best rhythm sections you could ask for: Alec Dankworth on bass, and Rod Brown (the legendary Phil Seamen's last pupil) at the drums.
